The Kingwood Legacy Alumni Weekend (May 16 - 17):

• Friday 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM - Mulligan's
• Saturday 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Alumni Basketball Tournament at The Second Baptist Gym in Kingwood
• Saturday 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Burgers and Drinks at Bill's

Those who knew Chad Maclies would describe him as a person of great character. He was very close to his family and very involved in his community and his church. He was a remarkable young man, who often put others before himself. Chad ’s leadership style was to lead by example, and as a result, many young people and adults looked up to him. On May 3, 2005, Chad passed away without warning. It was a tragic loss for all those who knew and loved Chad . In memory of Chad , Kingwood Legacy and the Kingwood Basketball Program have established scholarship in his name. This scholarship will go to a former player who, like Chad , exemplifies good character both on and off the court. The hope is that the good works of Chad Maclies will live on through others.
