Chad
Maclies Alumni Scholarship
These scholarships are given in the name of a former varsity
player who was tragically taken from us in his early 20’s.
One year ago, Chad Maclies, a driving force behind the first
team to win a district title under Coach Royce Huseman, and
an honor roll student and all-conference forward at Centenary
University, died suddenly of natural causes three weeks before
his college graduation. Chad epitomized all of the character
qualities we aspire for our young athletes. Our hope is that
the
Chad Maclies Scholarship will not only help
a former Kingwood basketball player to find his dreams, but
also honor and remember the special life of Chad. Click
